Dr. Floyd and Minister Rosalie Antonio

Founders

Dr. Floyd Antonio, a husband and father, is an experienced Teacher, Lecturer and Ministry Leader who hails from Aenon Town in Clarendon, Jamaica. He is an Edwin Allen High School Comprehensive past student who is also a graduate of Church Teachers' College and The Jamaica School of Music. Dr. Antonio is the founder and President of Carigospel Inc (A Gospel music recording and promotions company).' Pastor Floyd' is a gospel song-writer and recording artiste with more than four solo albums to his credit. He is the author of Leadership By The Book and he recently released his second book-DIRECT TALK which is also available on AMAZON. The miracle stories in DIRECT TALK reflect the close bond between a mother and her son and depicts a demonstration of a powerful relationship between a boy( David) who became a king, and his Heavenly Father.

 

Dr. Antonio has been sharing in music and the spoken Word at churches and youth organizations in various countries for over 35 years. He has served with ministers such as the late Dr. Myles Munroe (Bahamas), Rev. Sam Reid (Montego Bay), Rev. Peter Jennings, Rev. Amos Farquharson, (Sunrise, FL), Rev. Dr. Diane Mann, and Rev. Donald Lawrence. Dr. Antonio holds a comprehensive Ph-D in Philosophy and Apologetics with a focus on Theology from TRINITY COLLEGE of the BIBLE and THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY, Newburg Indiana. Dr. Floyd is also an ordained minister. He and his dear wife Rosie are founders of THE CITADEL INC, a ministry which focuses on Prayer, Praise and Worship, leadership, Kingdom Relationships, and Community Service.

 

 

 

Rev. Antonio's most valuable claim however is his relationship with Jehovah through His son Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is Dr. Antonio's teacher and he loves to invite others to worship God and to live victoriously by applying biblical principles to their daily living.

 

His wife of over 35 years, Rosalie (Rosie) Antonio, is a co-founder and serves on the leadership team of The Citadel Inc. She completed her formal education at the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica, and The College of The Bahamas and also completed several United States certifications in teaching and Health Management. Community service is what is uppermost in her heart, and she ensures that The Citadel Inc. partners with other community organizations to assist those in need of the basics: food, clothing and temporary housing. Rosie has also served as youth group leader for several ministries both in Jamaica and the United States and it is her passion to steer young people of all ages in the direction of their God given gifts and passions, whether it be in the arts, business, sciences etc. She has spearheaded Back To School drives and fund raisers for college bound students. Teaching middle and high schools for many years was Rosie’s training ground for ministry.

She works along with her husband to use music as a tool for worship and spreading the Gospel of The Kingdom of God to the world. Rosie has led and trained Praise and Worship Teams and choirs and contributes to the gospel music recordings produced by their music company Cari gospel. She enjoys being a Mum, she continues to be very thankful for what God has done in the lives of their children, and endeavors to spend time with family as often as possible.

Apostle James and Minister Maxine Ferguson

Associate Pastor & Administrator

Apostle James Ferguson serves as the Associate Pastor of The Citadel Inc. His wife Minister Maxine Ferguson is also a part of the Citadel Inc’s Leadership Team. Apostle Ferguson was born in Miami, Florida but was educated in both The Bahamas and the U.S as his parents were Bahamian. After completing his formal education, James enlisted in the United States Navy in 1980, where he served his country as an Operation Specialist (OS) for six (6) years. He exited the military with a heavy conviction of the call of God upon his life.

Since then, James has travelled throughout the United States of America, South America and the Caribbean, preaching the Word of God.

In 1992 he met and married his beautiful wife, Maxine D Curry, and that union has yielded them a fine family of 5 children: Sebastian (wife, Racquel); Lacoya (husband, Artavius) deceased; James Jr. (wife, Jessica); Corey James and Sarah. The family has now been extended with grandchildren.

Apostle James Ferguson owned and operated businesses in South Florida and The Bahamas. He has also served on the staff of several ministries including Mission Baptist Church in Nassau, The Bahamas and Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, Minnie Street, Nassau, among others.

Here in the United States of America he took on the role of Pastor on Call at Trinity Assemblies of God. He later founded Solid Ground Evangelical Assembly and JRF Ministries Intl. where he was the senior pastor. In 2014, he served as the Deputy Director in charge of Overseeing South Florida and the Caribbean with main focus on The Bahamas at EOM International Ministries.

For over a decade, Apostle Ferguson and his wife Maxine have been on a mission to educate people all over the U.S. on Financial Literacy and Generational Wealth, and they have been to several countries as they enjoy travelling the world. However, their main goal is to continue the great commission by going into all the world and preaching the Gospel and helping those in our community who are in need.

 

Minister Maxine Ferguson served on the staff of the Bahamian Consulate in Miami Florida for many years. She has also assisted her husband as a minister in the various religious and community service organizations he has been a part of. Minister Maxine is the true matriarch of her family as testified by her family members. This kindness is extended to others in her community who are in need. As board member and Administrator of The Citadel Inc, Maxine joins with the team in ensuring that we obey the principles of Christ in uplifting the lives of others.

Dr. Clyde Bailey

Board Member

Rev. Dr. Clyde Bailey is lead pastor of the Faith Place Church.  He and his wife of more than thirty-six years, Associate Pastor Pat Bailey, are parents to son John-Patrick and his wife, Shay.  Both are avid scholars and gifted teachers of the Word.  They are also sought after conference speakers locally, regionally, and now globally.

 

Before becoming an ordained minister and bishop, in 2010 and 2014 respectively, Dr. Bailey served as a family therapist with special focus on couples facing separation or divorce.  He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy in Marriage & Family Therapy in 2006 from the Fischler School of Education and Human Services at Nova Southeastern University.  For the ensuing 5 years, Dr. Bailey served as an advisor to doctoral students.  He served as both Enrollment Counselor and Program Professor; chairing eight doctoral dissertation committees.  He also taught classes in Educational Psychology at the master's level at campuses in South Florida and the Caribbean.

 

In 2012, Dr Bailey answered the call to full time ministry.  First, he served as Interim Pastor at the Deerfield Church of God. Then for the nine years that followed, Dr. Bailey served as Executive Pastor and Director of Counselling Services at the Cooper City Church of God.   Dr. Bailey is a published author of Brothers (You Can) Get It Right: An Intimate Conversation with Men about Marriage.  He also co-authored Lifting our Literary Voices: An Anthology of Poetry, Short Stories and Essays.

Marcia Gardener

Board member 

Marcia Gardener has served in several capacities in ministry, and is currently on the leadership team of The Citadel Inc. As the past owner of a catering business, she became very aware and filled with compassion for those who are facing food scarcity. Marcia is continually looking out for people in our community in need of a meal or clothing and she makes every effort to meet those needs, despite her busy schedule.

Having lost her husband while their children were very young, Marcia understands the struggles of young families, and in particular, single parents.

She currently works full-time as part of a property management team but still finds time to take care of others and work in the ministry. Marcia has always been a believer that a Christ centered life is a victorious one.

Paulette Clarke has over 18 years’ experience as a real estate agent representing both buyers and sellers. She began her career in the industry 23 years working as an office manager for a real estate and mortgage company.  She is a well-rounded individual who not only has in-depth knowledge and experience in the industry, but she also holds a master’s degree in business administration. Over the years, she has become a trusted advisor to her customers on one of the most financially impactful decisions they will make in their lifetime. She has also served her community as a volunteer Hud certified housing counselor for several years. Paulette has won several regional and national real estate awards.

Paulette has an inborn passion to serve others. Customer satisfaction is of paramount importance to her, and she is willing to go the extra mile to ensure that she achieves this objective.

Paulette’s knowledge of the home market has made her a valuable consultant on issues of assisting with temporary housing and knowledge of the organizations that can assist with more permanent housing for low-income families.
